Instructions for downloading the single file self-extracting version of the software programs
  1. Click the file name associated with the software you desire.
  2. Pick or create a directory for the file on your local hard drive.
  3. Save the file to your hard drive.  All ".exe" files are self extracting zip files that should extract automatically.  After that, you will need to run "setup.exe" in most cases if it does not already run for you. Be sure to save all other file extensions as they are listed on the download page.( ie. FM3_A1.fsh  etc, because your browser may not carry the file extension required automatically)
  4. Run the setup/install program.

Instructions for downloading the files larger than 1.44 MB and making installation disks

  1. Create Separate directories for each of the disks of the install.
  2. Download all the files associated with the software program you desire into the separate you created in step1 on your hard drive. There are usually 2-4 install files (one for each installation disk) required for each multi-disk software package. The first file (i.e. "ax-win-v22a-sales-d1.exe") is a self-extracting zip file containing the files for disk 1. The other files (i.e. "data2.cab") are installation files from installation disks 2, 3 etc. They are extracted by the "setup.exe" installation program (see below).Double-click on the self-extracting file (i.e. "ax-win-22a-sales-d1.exe") in Windows Explorer. This will extract the files for disk 1. Extract the files into the same directory as the self extracting (.exe) zip file.
  3. Copy all disk 1 files except the self-extracting zip file from the disk1 directory to your disk1 floppy.
  4. Copy the contents of the disk2 through diskX directories to separate disks.  These are usually single files with .cab extensions for each disk.
