Solution Modules (SM’s) enable users to customize advanced Control Techniques AC, AC Universal and some Servo drives to their specific requirements. Whether it’s to expand I/O, use a resolver or a second encoder, easily implement an industry-standard fieldbus, or tap into the scaleable PLC functionality of the Unidrive SP, SM’s are the solution. The snap-in modules fit under the drive cover for a zero-space solution.

Up to three SM’s can be used in the Unidrive SP, two in the Commander GP20, one in all but the smallest Commander SK, and two in all four of the Digitax ST variants. With the Diigitax ST-Z variant having an internal SM-EZMotion module.
