Emission

The drive contains an in-built filter for basic emission control. An additional optional external filter provides further reduction of emission. The requirements of the following standards are met, depending on the motor cable length.

This is a product of the restricted distribution class according to IEC61800-3. In a domestic environment this product may cause radio interference in which case the user may be required to take  adequate measures.

R - Residential generic standard EN 50081-1 (EN 61000-6-3) EN 61800-3 first environment unrestricted distribution

EN61800-3 defines the following:
" The first environment is one that includes domestic premises. It also
includes establishments directly connected without intermediate transformers to a low-voltage power supply network which supplies buildings used for domestic purposes.

" The second environment is one that includes all establishments other than those directly connected to a low-voltage power supply network which supplies buildings used for domestic purposes.

" Restricted distribution is defined as a mode of sales distribution in which the manufacturer restricts the supply of equipment to suppliers, customers or users who separately or jointly have technical competence in the EMC requirements of the application of drives.
